We love our Missionaries!
From the very beginning of the Assemblies of God Women’s Ministries, our focus has always been toward helping missionary families fulfill their calling to leave home and country to spread the Good News in foreign lands.
Every four years our SoCal missionaries come back to share updates with our churches and raise their budgets. Since their “home” is no longer stateside but overseas, Women of SoCal come alongside to help provide household items for them to use here and also take back to the country of their calling.
We do this by collecting gift cards from Target and Walmart. Many times, one of their first stops is to visit our Women of SoCal office, and what a blessing it is to be able to give them a generous stack of gift cards that have been sent with love from YOU!
It’s so easy to help! Purchase a gift card or two for Target or Walmart in the amount $25 or more and mail it to our office. Feel free to write a note of encouragement to go along with it! Or have a few friends give $5 each and go in together to buy one. Thanks for your generosity and continuing to make it possible for others around the world to know Jesus.
